Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, is participating in the activities of the International Tourism Exchange Berlin 2025, which will be held from March 4 to 6 in Berlin.

The exhibition is one of the largest international exhibitions and a platform for exchanging experiences and developments in the tourism industry.

It is also an opportunity to introduce the tourism components, products, services, and tourism experiences that the Sultanate of Oman abounds in.

In addition, participation contributes to promoting tourism and attracting more tourists from European export markets in general, promoting investment opportunities available in the tourism sector, and concluding partnerships and agreements in areas related to the tourism sector.

The current edition of the exhibition is attended by 55 local tourism and hotel establishments and four strategic partners: Oman Air, Oman Airports, Omran Company, and the Travel Operator Visit Oman.

Haitham bin Mohammed al Ghassani, Director General of Tourism Promotion and Official Spokesperson at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, said "The participation reflects the Sultanate of Oman's commitment to expanding the base of international visitors, while working to diversify its tourism products and enhance economic activity by investing in the tourism sector and highlighting the Sultanate of Oman's unique strategic location, natural beauty, stunning scenery and rich cultural heritage, stressing that the Sultanate of Oman is an ideal destination for tourists looking for unique and amazing experiences. It may be noted that the ITB Berlin 2025 will cover a wide range of interests and will include organizing many conferences and discussion panels that will address the latest developments in the global tourism sector, including digital innovations and sustainable tourism."
