Public urged to sight moon of Ramadhan tomorrow

Muscat: The Main Committee for Moon Sighting will convene on Friday evening at the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs to observe the crescent of the holy month of Ramadhan for the year 1446 AH.


The committee has called on citizens and residents across the Sultanate of Oman to participate in sighting the crescent and report any confirmed sightings to the relevant authorities.


Meanwhile, the sighting of the crescent marks the beginning of Ramadhan
