Muscat: The Central Blood Bank in Bausher has reported a significant shortage in several blood types, urging donors to donate at the earliest.

According to a recent announcement, the Bank said it is experiencing a severe drop in O-, A-, B-, and AB-, while other groups, including AB positive and A positive, are also running low.

The shortage poses a critical challenge in meeting the needs of patients requiring urgent transfusions.

Meanwhile, the Blood Bank is calling on the public to donate blood to support those in need.

Donors can visit during the following times: Saturday to Thursday, 8 am to 8 pm, and on Fridays from 8 am to 2 pm.

The Central Blood Bank continues to emphasize the life-saving impact of blood donation, urging eligible individuals to step forward and contribute.
