Iran's supreme leader has categorically rejected negotiations with US President Donald Trump. "One shall not negotiate with a government like this," Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said, according to the IRNA news agency. "Negotiating with America will solve no problem. Proof? Experience!" added Khamenei. The supreme leader accused the US States of reneging on its obligations under the 2015 nuclear deal reached in Vienna. "The Americans did not comply with that very agreement," Khamenei said. "The very same person who is now in office tore up the agreement." Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has signalled his willingness to engage in negotiations, but the final decision rests with Khamenei. - dpa
