Defence officials receive Pakistani Chief of Air Staff

MUSCAT: Dr Mohammed bin Nasser al Za'abi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defence, today received Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar, Chief of Air Staff of Pakistan’s Air Force, and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, both sides discussed several military matters of mutual interest that aim to boost military cooperation. The meeting was attended by Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman, Brigadier Ahmed bin Ibrahim Ambusaidi, Director-General of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Defence, and the Military Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s embassy in Muscat.


Meanwhile, Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (Rafo), received in his office at Muaskar Al Murtafaa Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar, Chief of Air Staff of Pakistan’s Air Force, and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on several matters of common concern. The meeting was attended by senior Rafo officers and the Military Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s embassy in Muscat.


Moreover, Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), received in his office today Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar, Chief of Air Staff of Pakistan’s Air Force, and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on several military matters of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman, and the Military Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s embassy in Muscat.
