The first shows of the autumn and winter edition of this year's Berlin Fashion Week kicked off on Friday.
The German designer Kilian Kerner showcased his collection named"Shitstorm," focusing particularly on the colours pink, gold, silver and black. The collection featured ostentatious outfits, plenty of glitter and extra-long sleeves.
In the coming days, several designers also plan to present their creations. For example, the runway show by the brand Marc Cain is expected to feature Swiss-Italian TV show host and former model Michelle Hunziker and Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio.
Overall, around 30 shows are scheduled until Monday in various parts of the capital - including venues such as the Uber Eats Music Hall,the waste management company Berlin Recycling or the Halle am Berghain at the city's world-famous nightclub.
Berlin Fashion Week is held twice a year in the German capital in a spring/summer and autumn/winter edition. —dpa
