Certificates handover and honouring ceremony held as part of RAFO Annual Day celebrations

Muscat: Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), handed over diploma certificates in military sciences and Royal Patents to the officers who graduated from the Sultan Qaboos Air Academy (SQAA) on the occasion of the graduation ceremony of the Basic Officer Candidate Course and the Limited Service and University Officer Candidate Course at the Sultan Qaboos Air Academy (SQAA) and Gala Air Base, on Sunday.



The Commander of RAFO congratulated the graduating officers on their performance in the military parade they presented during the graduation ceremony which reflects the military capabilities and skills they acquired during the training period. He congratulated them on gaining the Royal trust of His Majesty the Supreme Commander as officers in the Royal Air Force of Oman, urging them to continue to exert more effort and dedication in performing their work duties, wishing them success and prosperity.



The occasion was attended by a number of senior officers of the Royal Air Force of Oman.



As part of RAFO’s celebration of its annual day which falls on the 25th of January of each year, Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) on Sunday honored the air bases winners of various competitions and activities for the year 2024.



The commander of RAFO handed over the cups to the air bases that won first place in cultural and sports activities, the traffic education competition and other competitions held in 2024 at the Cultural Centre Theater at Ghala Base and the Sultan Qaboos Air Academy. He congratulated the winning air bases that urging everyone to keep up their hard efforts and wished them more success.



The honoring ceremony was attended by a number of senior officers of the Royal Air Force of Oman.
