State Council, Shura to discuss key draft laws

Muscat - The State Council and the Majlis A'Shura will hold the first joint session of the second regular session of the eighth term of the Council of Oman on Tuesday.


The committee will discuss the disputed articles in the draft laws on electronic transactions, public health, transfer and transplantation of human organs and tissues, finance, individual income tax, special economic and free zones, which were referred by the Council of Ministers to discuss and vote as per the procedures for holding joint sessions between the two councils.


The joint session comes under the provisions of Article (49) of the Council of Oman Law.
