The Ministry of Education is participating in the Education Technology Exhibition (Bett London 2025) from January 22 to 24 at the Excel London Centre in the United Kingdom.
The ministry’s pavilion includes a display of a number of pioneering projects that reflect the ministry’s digital transformation and artificial intelligence efforts. These projects include the Noor project, which provides an integrated digital educational environment that supports e-learning; the virtual science labs project, which provides students with an interactive scientific experience through simulation technologies; a display of the digital atlas project, which enhances the use of data and interactive geographic maps; the digital schools project, which aims to develop the technical infrastructure of schools; the curricula digitisation project to provide interactive educational books; a display of the vision and efforts of the new digital transformation project; and the ministry’s artificial intelligence initiatives, which represent a comprehensive qualitative shift in the management and development of the educational process.
Dr Faisal bin Ali al Busaidy, Director General of the Directorate General of Information Technology and Head of the participating delegation, said: “Our participation in the Education Technology Exhibition is a translation of the Ministry of Education’s vision to enhance digital transformation and employ artificial intelligence to improve the quality of education and develop its environment. This event represents an exceptional opportunity to learn about the latest global experiences and build strong partnerships with leading companies in this field to serve our aspirations towards providing advanced and sustainable education for students in the Sultanate of Oman.”
The ministry aims through its participation to showcase its most prominent achievements and projects in the field of digital education. It also aims to explore the prospects of cooperation with specialised international companies and achieve comprehensive benefit from the innovations and modern technologies on display, as well as review the latest innovations in the field of educational technology and develop its projects in line with international standards in cooperation with participating international companies and institutions.
