Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology: The Ministry is working during the current year on a number of projects and initiatives, the most important of which are: launching the Space Accelerators Program, working on implementing the second phase of the Space Engineering Laboratory project in cooperation with Sultan Qaboos University, implementing the second package of the National Capacity Building Program in the Space Sector, and continuing work on characterizing government sector institutions and academic education institutions related to the space sector.
Minister: The growth rate in companies operating in space has increased to 90%, the growth rate in the number of jobs has increased to 100%, and the growth rate in the volume of investment in the sector has reached about 30%.
Minister: The overall performance of the government digital transformation program reached (73 %) , while the percentage of digitization of priority services reached (67 %) , and the percentage of proficiency in the digital transformation of government institutions reached (77 %) , and the procedures for 2680 services have been simplified so far.
