MUSCAT: Faisal bin Abdullah al Rawas, Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), received in his office on Monday an official delegation from the Republic of Austria, headed by Andreas Reichhardt, Austrian Vice-Minister of Finance and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides explored investment opportunities in several key sectors, including technology, clean energy, mining, vocational training and tourism.
They also reviewed means to enhance trade and economic cooperation. This aims to contribute to the development of both countries' economies, broaden their foundations, and strengthen economic ties in support of shared interests.
The Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) underscored the importance of strengthening economic ties between Oman and Austria, highlighting the promising opportunities for the public and private sectors and the investment incentives offered by Oman to attract local and international investments. — ONA
