Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology (MTCIT) has announced the activation of a new system linking all transportation and IT-related violations with the systems of the Royal Oman Police and the Ministry of Labour, effective February 15, 2025.

The ministry stated that all beneficiaries of land transport services, including individuals and companies with violations under the Land Transport Law (Royal Decree No. 10/2016) and its Executive Regulation (Resolution No. 3/2018), must review their cases within a one-month period starting from the date of this announcement. This initiative aims to resolve outstanding violations and prevent any potential impact on their business operations.

The ministry encourages affected parties to address their violations promptly to ensure uninterrupted commercial activities.
