Muscat: HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, on Wednesday presided over the closing ceremony of the 15th Arab Theatre Festival, hosted by the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, in partnership with the Arab Theatre Authority and the Omani Theatre Society from January 9 to 15.
The festival saw a number of theatrical performances, press conferences, training sessions and an intellectual conference. It brought together more than 500 Theatrical actors/ actresses from the Sultanate of Oman and Arab countries.
The festival saw 15 theatrical performances staged on 3 different venues namely: Al Bustan Palace Theatre, Al Irfan Theatre at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre and the College of Banking Studies Theatre.
