Muscat: Ahmed al Sharaa, leader of the Syrian transitional administration, received Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah al Hinai, Ambassador at Large at the Foreign Ministry, at the People’s Palace in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
During the meeting, Shaikh Abdulaziz conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the leadership and people of Syria. He reaffirmed the Sultanate of Oman’s commitment to strengthening fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples.
Shaikh Abdulaziz also emphasised Oman’s steadfast position in respecting the will of the Syrian people and their national choices, while supporting international and regional efforts aligned with their aspirations.
