MUSCAT: Asyad Group has signed eight agreements valued at over RO 5 million with small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to execute national logistics projects. These partnerships aim to expand SME business opportunities while fostering a diversified and sustainable economy rooted in innovation and efficiency.


Sameh Hassan Batook, Vice President of Contracts and Tenders at Asyad Group, described the agreements as a significant milestone in supporting SMEs. He highlighted their role in enhancing innovation, improving operational efficiency, and diversifying supply chains, all while ensuring the sustainability of Asyad’s future operations and projects.


“These agreements will create more job opportunities for Omani youth, strengthen their role in driving the national economy, and help SMEs expand into regional and global markets,” he added.


The initiative aligns with Asyad Group’s local added value programs, reflecting its commitment to empowering Omani entrepreneurs. It also underscores the group's pivotal role in achieving Oman Vision 2040, which emphasizes cross-sector partnerships, comprehensive development, and positioning Oman as a global logistics hub. — ONA
