Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik al Said sent a cable of felicitations to Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, on the occasion of the successful hosting of the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup.
In the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his utmost congratulations to His Highness and the people of Kuwait, praising the great efforts made by the State of Kuwait in organizing this most prominent football event at the level of the Gulf countries. His Majesty wished the State of Kuwait permanent success and further achievements at all levels.
His Majesty also greeted King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, on the occasion of his country's national team winning the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup. His Majesty the Sultan expressed his warmest congratulations to His Majesty the King and the brotherly Bahraini people on this sporting achievement, hoping for more achievements in various sectors.
