MUSCAT: The Royal Court Affairs (RCA), represented by the Royal Farms and Gardens and the Royal Hospitality, is participating in the Muscat Flower Festival held as part of 'Muscat Nights 2024' with a unique and diverse display that reflects the beauty of Oman’s nature and the creativity of Omani handicrafts, showcasing a dazzling collection of natural and artificial roses.
The RCA’s participation in the Muscat Flower Festival, held at Al Qurum Natural Park, is distinguished by the display of the Sultan Qaboos Rose, the Sultan Haitham Rose and the Rose of Her Highness the Honourable Lady.
The RCA also presents a simulation of the beauty of garden design and implementation and displays home-grown flowers, including Tuberose rose and orchids.
The RCA further showcases a wide range of distinctive international roses and flowers, most notably the fragrant O’hara rose, lily flowers, chrysanthemum, hydrangea, anthurium, mattiola, heliconia and other distinctive flowers used for decoration and attractive designs.
The RCA’s corner includes large flower sculptures, such as a vase made entirely of roses in the shape of a peacock, a crown arranged with roses, as well as other sculptures reflecting innovative flower designs by Omani hands.
The RCA’s participation aims to enhance the Sultanate of Oman’s presence in the Muscat Flower Festival and showcase imported roses from the Netherlands, Thailand and African countries to enrich the visitors’ experience and set up an atmosphere of beauty and sophistication at the event.
This participation is a testament to the pioneering role of the Royal Court Affairs in highlighting the Omani identity and high craftsmanship, focusing on the cultural and natural diversity of the Sultanate of Oman. — ONA
