NIZWA: The Internal Tenders Committee in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate awarded tenders worth over RO 8 million for development projects in the municipal sector at its meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Shaikh Hilal bin Said al Hajri, Governor of Al Dakhiliyah.

The move comes within the context of the governorate’s strategy to upgrade municipal services in all the wilayats of Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.

During its meeting, the ITC discussed the construction of internal roads in the wilayats of Samayil, Bahla, Izki and Adam, paving the Al Najid-Wadi Andam road in the Wilayat of Samayil, developing the Misfat Al Abriyeen neighborhood in the Wilayat of Al Hamra, developing the gateway to Jabreen and Basya in the Wilayat of Bahla, developing the Bahla market and lighting the Al Kharm intersection in the Wilayat of Bahla.

Once completed, the projects will boost the governorate’s economy and bring about a qualitative shift in municipal services in the governorates. — ONA
