Al AWABI: A delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO) visited Snaibi Health Village in the Wilayat of Al Awabi, Al Batinah South Governorate, on Thursday.
The visit was aimed at soliciting public about the best ways to support and implement development initiatives. The WHO team conferred with members of the Village Development Committee and sought measures to upgrade the standards of such initiatives in line with the goals of sustainable development, strategies and plans of the World Health Organisation. The meeting was held in the presence of Dr Ahmed bin Salim al Mandhari, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Health for Planning and Health Organisation at the Ministry of Health, and Dr Jean Yacoub Jabbour, WHO Representative in Oman.
