The Sultanate of Oman has recently launched its first satellite, named OL-1, marking a significant technological advancement and enhancing the nation's position in the global space arena. By launching OL-1, Oman positions itself among countries striving to strengthen their presence in space and leverage it to support sustainable development projects, aligning with its national vision for substantial achievements in space exploration and remote sensing systems.
