MUSCAT: Oman Housing Bank approved 3,201 housing loans worth over RO 130 million during the first nine months of 2024, marking the highest loan approvals since its establishment. The loans, distributed across Oman’s governorates, aim to support citizens with subsidized financing and reduce waiting list delays.

Since its inception in 1977, the bank has provided 68,979 loans, amounting to more than RO 1.6 billion. CEO Musa bin Masoud al Jadidi emphasized the bank's commitment to enabling citizens to secure affordable housing and boosting the nation’s construction sector.
