HM Sultan visits the Nation's Library in Ankara

Ankara - His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today visited the Nation’s Library at the Turkish Presidential Complex in Ankara.


During the visit, His Majesty the Sultan viewed the library’s sections, its valuable publications and rare manuscripts covering various sciences.


Then, His Majesty the Sultan toured a mini exhibition of Omani-Turkish documents and publications organized on the occasion of His Majesty’s gracious visit to the Republic of Türkiye.


The Nation’s Library is the largest institution of its kind in the Republic of Türkiye. It houses a huge collection of reference books, about 4 million print copies, more than 120 million articles and electronic scientific publications, and 134,000 books from various countries of the world and in different languages. The library has a special corner for Omani publications.
