MUSCAT: Oman Post, the national postal operator, hosted the PRIME bi-annual general assembly and the PRIME Board. The three-days assembly brought together postal operators from across the globe, with attendees joining to discuss advancements in e-commerce.


During the meeting, PRIME members discussed ways to advance e-commerce across borders. By simplifying processes and increasing efficiency, PRIME supports move 300 million shipments worldwide each year. These efforts are crucial in addressing the increasing complexity of international e-commerce, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and performance in the global supply chain.


Holding the PRIME assembly in Muscat underscored Oman’s strategic position as a key player in the global logistics network. As a board member of PRIME, Oman Post’s role in leading this event further solidified its standing as a driver of innovation in cross-border eCommerce and reinforces the Sultanate of Oman’s competitive position for facilitating cross-border trade.
