MANAH: The Oman Across Ages Museum in the Wilayat of Manah, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, welcomed nearly 25,000 visitors during the 54th National Day holiday, attracting both domestic and international audiences.

Eng Al Yaqzan bin Abdullah al Harthy, Director-General of the Oman Across Ages Museum, highlighted that the museum serves as an integrated tourist destination, showcasing Oman’s rich identity, ancient history, and diverse geological and geographical heritage. It also reflects the achievements of Oman’s blessed renaissance through modern technological exhibits. The museum offers a variety of services, facilities and amenities, making it a year-round destination for visitors.

To accommodate the holiday influx, the museum management implemented several measures, including deploying additional staff, involving the community in volunteer and investment activities, extending visiting hours and enabling advance booking via the museum’s website. These enhancements aimed to ensure a seamless experience for visitors exploring Oman’s history across the museum’s exhibition halls, including the History Hall and the Renaissance Hall.

Eng Al Harthy emphasised efforts to streamline the ticketing process with electronic booking services, making the museum more accessible to visitors.

The museum remains open from Saturday to Thursday between 9 am and 5 pm, and on Fridays from 1:30 pm to 7 pm, providing ample opportunities for visitors to delve into Oman’s past and its continued renaissance. - ONA
