CBO announces auction results of 72nd GDB issue

MUSCAT: The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) announced the auction results of the 72nd Government Development Bonds (GDB) issue worth RO 98,000,000.


According to a media release issued by CBO’s Market Operations Department, the 72nd GDB Issue, which received overwhelming response from investors, has received applications amounted to RO 173,416,500.


The average yield was 4.75 per cent at an equivalent price of RO 100.000, while the highest yield was 4.77 per cent at an equivalent price of RO 99.910 and the lowest was at 4.74 per cent at an equivalent price of RO 100.045.


The 5-year Bond will be issued today (Tuesday), and it will mature on November 5, 2029. — ONA
