Muscat - The University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) in Nizwa and its Community Service team conducted a clean-up drive in Wadi al Muhaideen recently.

The initiative was aimed at encouraging environmental care and awareness by reducing trash to help mitigate a prevalent phenomenon of global warming.

The drive included cleaning and removing pieces of litter especially non-biodegradable wastes, mostly plastics along the entire long stretch, from the mouth to the farthest end

of Wadi al Muhaideen.
