Salalah: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) in Dhofar Governorate on Tuesday launched the ambulance service in the Wilayat of Taqah and the Al Saada District in the Wilayat of Salalah.

By launching the ambulance service, the CDAA aims to provide on-site first aid to accident victims and transfer them to hospitals. The service also provides emergency medical care for critically ill patients at home.

The provision of this service is in line with the significant population and urban growth that took place in Dhofar Governorate and the CDAA’s keenness to provide its services and spread them throughout the Sultanate of Oman.
