MUSCAT: The second International Dates and Honey Exhibition opened today at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, under the auspices of Dr Saud bin Hamoud al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources. Organized by the Ministry in partnership with Asaas Company, the exhibition will run for several days and showcases products from the Sultanate of Oman, the Gulf, and other countries.

The event provides a platform for producers and exporters to display their goods, expand trade opportunities, and enhance the competitiveness of Oman’s dates and honey sector. It also highlights the latest innovations in production technology and aims to open new markets for these products. The exhibition draws participation from small and medium-sized enterprises and aims to build on the success of last year's inaugural event, which saw participation from 13 countries and 150 companies. — ONA
