MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Social Development, and the Office of the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (Unicef), discussed areas of cooperation in various aspects related to childhood development services. This came when Dr Laila bint Ahmed al Najjar, Minister of Social Development, received at her office on Tuesday Sumaira Chowdhury, Representative of the Office of the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) in Muscat. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the draft country programme document (CPD) between the Sultanate of Oman and the Unicef and the Plan of Action for Child Protection, Early Childhood Development, Children with Disabilities and other childhood programmes to be implemented during the next phase. - ONA
