Muscat: Al Nasr defeated Ibri 2-0 in the game held on Tuesday at the Ibri Sports Complex as part of the sixth round of the Omantel League.

Al Nasr players started the match with pressure on Ibri, searching for an early goal. In the seventh minute, Mulham al Snaidi missed a clear chance when his cross-shot went just past the left post. Al Nasr continued the pressure until the 34th minute, when Marwan Taib scored the first goal for Al Nasr with a brilliant header from a corner kick.

Just before the end of the first half, Mulham al Snaidi added a second goal for Al Nasr after a beautiful dribble inside the penalty area and a shot to the right of the goalkeeper. The first half ended with Al Nasr leading 2-0.

In the second half, Ibri attempted to get back into the match, pressing Al Nasr. Raed al Mukhaini struck a powerful free kick in the 50th minute, but Al Nasr goalkeeper Saeed al Sinani saved it excellently. Despite Ibri’s repeated efforts, they failed to score due to the players’ haste and missed opportunities.

With this victory, Al Nasr raised their tally to 10 points and climbed to fourth place, while Ibri remained on four points and stayed in 10th place.

Al Shabab responded with a powerful shot from Hatem al Roshdi, which was saved by Al Rustaq's goalkeeper, resulting in a corner in the 10th minute. Both teams continued to exchange attacks, and in the 34th minute, Issam al Subhi managed to score the opening goal for Al Shabab after a one-on-one with the Al Rustaq goalkeeper. Al Rustaq tried to come back into the match with a dangerous header from Musab al Shaqsi, which hit the crossbar in the 38th minute, but the first half ended with Al Shabab leading 1-0.

In the second half, Al Rustaq increased the pressure to equalise, but Al Shabab extended their lead with a second goal in the 54th minute by Hatem al Roshdi following a well-organised attack.
