Salalah: Khalid Al-Abri, Director General of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in the Dhofar Governorate, unveiled major projects to boost the region’s tourism sector, which include the addition of 1,000 rooms from four new hotels by next year.

Speaking at a press conference during Marhaba Dhofar events, Al-Abri stressed the importance of these projects in catering to the rising demand from domestic and international tourists.

The new projects, he noted, are designed to enhance the governorate’s tourism infrastructure and strengthen its appeal as a year-round destination.
