Muscat: In cooperation with Muscat Municipality, the Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development has invited street vendors to register for opportunities to operate in a dedicated zone in Wadi Kabir in the wilayat of Muttrah.
According to Muscat Municipality, priorities will be given to owners residing in Muttrah.
The operator must have a license to practice the activity, must be of Omani nationality, and must be at least 18 years old.
The project owner can practice the activity as stated in the license.
The applicant must not have another license to practice any other commercial, professional, or craft activity.
The site has been prepared to cater to around 12 street vendors, with facilities such as electricity and water connections and designated parking spaces for customers’ vehicles.
