Muscat: The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) is currently conducting the 43rd Consumer Confidence Survey for the third quarter of 2024.

The survey targets Omani citizens aged 18 and above, including a minimum of 1,500 participants from various governorates across Oman. Data collection through phone-based interviews will cover both genders, different age groups, and educational backgrounds.

The Consumer Confidence Index is a key economic indicator that provides valuable insights into the economic conditions of Omani households.

The survey seeks to assess multiple factors influencing the Omani economy, including the financial status of households, factors impacting the economy positively or negatively, future economic expectations, and the availability of employment opportunities.
