

KATHMANDU: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister on Tuesday met with Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal at the capital city of Kathmandu.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and highlighted means of tapping new vistas of cooperation in various fields of interest to the two countries.
They also highlighted opportunities to boost economic and trade cooperation, particularly in the fields of tourism, mining, agriculture and cultural exchange. Both sides reiterated the importance of exchanging expertise and supporting joint investments.
Further, the two sides underscored the importance of firm mutual cooperation to tackle joint challenges and promote peace and stability in the region and the world.

The meeting was attended by Issa bin Saleh al Shaibani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of India and non-resident ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. It was also attended by several officials from both sides.
Meanwhile, the Sultanate of Oman and the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal reviewed means of augmenting bilateral relations. The two countries also reiterated the importance of exploring new cooperation opportunities in various fields.
This came during the meeting of Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister with Arzu Rana Deuba, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal, which was held in Nepal’s capital city of Kathmandu.

Moreover, during the meeting the two side touched on regional and international developments of mutual interest. They also underscored the importance of cooperation and coordination between the two countries in order to achieve joint objectives, as well as support peace and development in the region and the world at large.
The meeting was attended by Issa bin Saleh al Shaibani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of India and non-resident ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal and several officials from both sides.
