Taqah: The Wilayat of Taqah has successfully concluded its Youth Development Program, a significant initiative held over three days and organized by the Office of the Wali of Taqah.
The program's closing ceremony was attended by Sheikh Tariq bin Khalid bin al Walid al Hinai, Wali of Taqah, alongside distinguished members of the municipal council, senior government officials, and a large gathering of youth participants.
Part of the Dhofar Governorate's Khareef Taqah events, the program was designed to target unemployed youth, employees, entrepreneurs, and students. The initiative met its objectives by fostering community partnerships and enhancing the skills of more than 200 participants through a series of diverse and structured training workshops.
Asma bint Ali Salem al Maashani, the program’s supervisor, emphasized that the initiative was aimed at empowering youth, developing their capabilities, and reinforcing community cohesion within the Wilayat. The program sought to instill a sense of national pride among young Omanis, equipping them with the knowledge necessary to contribute to the Sultanate's future.
The Office of the Wali of Taqah highlighted the importance of such initiatives in shaping a promising future for Oman’s youth and aligning with Oman Vision 2040. The office also praised the collaborative efforts of all entities involved in the program’s success, reaffirming the critical role of community partnership in youth development.
