

SALALAH: The Dhofar International Contemporary Art Exhibition, inaugurated on Tuesday, showcases a diverse collection of 350 artworks from artists within and beyond Oman.
Organised by the Omani Women’s Association in Salalah, in collaboration with Dhofar Municipality, the exhibition is housed at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment and will run until August 16.
This exhibition, a key highlight of the Salalah Autumn activities, features a wide array of artistic expressions, including fine arts, sculpture, and photography. It offers a platform for introducing international fine art aesthetics and fostering artistic exchange among participants from various schools of thought and artistic traditions.
Nour bint Hassan Al Ghassaniya, Chairwoman, Omani Women’s Association in Salalah, emphasised the association’s commitment to supporting cultural and artistic endeavors.
She noted the significance of the exhibition, which draws participation from artists across the globe, thereby enriching Dhofar's cultural landscape and promoting the autumn season as a vibrant cultural destination. - ONA
