Muscat: One Sudanese expatriate has been found dead following a drowning incident in the wilayat of Seeb.

It may be noted that another Sudanese expatriate survived the same incident, according to the Muscat Governorate Police Command.

The Royal Oman Police said it is necessary to follow the guidelines for swimming in locations with strong rip currents.

Last week, a citizen was found dead, while four others (all citizens) were safely rescued following a drowning incident in the Al-Safinat area in the Wilayat of Seeb.
