MUSCAT: Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) on Tuesday announced the implementation if the first phase of the decision to combat hidden trade in Muscat Governorate, South Al Batinah Governorate and Dhofar Governorate.
"Seeking to combat the hidden trade activities in Oman and limit its economic repercussions on business owners and the community, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, & Investment Promotion announces the first phase of implementing the resolution to combat hidden trade, provided that inspections of commercial activities are included in the first phase the Governorate of Muscat, North Al Batinah, and Dhofar," a statement from the ministry said.
