The United Arab Emirates announced a cabinet reshuffle that included the appointment of Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as minister of defence and deputy prime minister, Dubai's ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum said in an X post on Sunday.
