

Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, received a written message from Dimitar Glavchev, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria related to bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
The written message was delivered to Sayyid Badr by Nevyana Miteva and Maria Anguelieva, deputy ministers of foreign affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria when he received them in his office.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Bulgaria in the economic, cultural, energy, renewable energy, maritime transport and technology fields.
They exchanged views on regional and international issues, foremost of which is the tragic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip resulting from the Israeli aggression. The two sides stressed the need to achieve justice for the Palestinian people and provide them with relief and humanitarian assistance and the establishment of the independent Palestinian state as per the international law and based on the two-state solution.
The meeting was attended by Shaikh Humaid Ali al Maani, Head of the Global Affairs Department at the Foreign Ministry, Roman Petrov, Director of the Middle East and Africa Department at the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry and a number of officials from both sides. — ONA
