Muscat: Children visited television studios of Oman TV as part of a three-day talent workshop organised by the Cultural Library of the Ministry of Information and the Oman Daily Observer.


They learned about the process of preparing TV programmes. They also visited the studio of the 'Morning Coffee' programme, which presents the most important local news and monitors the most prominent events and activities. It discusses several social, cultural, and health topics. They also learned about TV cameras. Children were introduced to the character Nour.

Twelve children are taking part in the workshop. During the workshop, children will get acquainted with the offerings of Ain smart phone app. It also highlights the importance of recycling and fostering environmental awareness.


The participants, who are aged six to nine years, will get training to develop a passion for science and technology through problem-solving, brainstorming, and competitions. It will also instil skills of team building and self-development.
