Oman Airports, through Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport, started bidding farewell to the pilgrims heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform this year’s Hajj .

The company formed special committees to supervise and facilitate travel procedures for Hajj pilgrims, in addition to receiving them after the completion of their mission.

It also increased the number of employees and check-in desks for pilgrims to facilitate the travel process and distributed gifts to travelers.

Muscat International Airport increased the number of prayer halls at the airport, provided transport vehicles for the elderly to take them to the departure gates, and allocated waiting places for rest during the waiting period for flights to make it easier for pilgrims before boarding the plane .

All medical teams present at the two airports have been fully prepared to ensure the readiness of their services to receive any cases that require medical intervention for elderly travelers or those who need special medical service during this season.

Oman Airports also placed information signs to facilitate pilgrims’ access to the departure gates .

Oman Airports also coordinated with the Royal Oman Police, represented by the General Administration of Airport Security and the General Administration of Passports, with the aim of facilitating the completion of travel procedures for pilgrims at the passport area and checking bags, at Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport, in addition to organizing traffic at the departure areas of the two airports.
