Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Meshal al Ahmad al Sabah issued an Amiri Order appointing Sheikh Sabah al Khalid al Sabah as crown prince, the state news agency KUNA reported on Sunday.
Sheikh Sabah, 71, previously served as prime minister and as foreign minister in the country.
