Royal Decree transfers Oman Centre for Traditional Music

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Monday issued Royal Decree No 27/2024 transferring “Oman Centre for Traditional Music” from the Diwan of Royal Court to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth.


Article (1) states that Oman Centre for Traditional Music shall be transferred from the Diwan of Royal Court to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth.


Article (2) stipulates that all allocations, properties, origins, rights, obligations and assets of Oman Centre for Traditional Music (Diwan of Royal Court) shall be transferred to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth.


Article (3) states that employees of Oman Centre for Traditional Music shall be transferred to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, along with their financial grades.


Article (4) cancels all that contradicts this decree or contravenes its provisions.


Article (5) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
