Bank Muscat announces scheduled system maintenance

Muscat: Bank Muscat has announced a scheduled system maintenance and upgrade that will result in a brief interruption to some of its services. The maintenance is set to occur during the following times:


Thursday, May 16: 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM


Saturday, May 18: 8:00 PM to Sunday,


Sunday, May 19: 5:00 AM


During these periods, several services will remain available, including:


* ATM Network


* Point of Sale (POS) Network


* Online Shopping on local sites using all cards


* Online Shopping on international sites using credit cards


However, the following services will be unavailable:


* Mobile Banking and Internet Banking


* CDMs, Card Printing Kiosks, and Statement Printers


* Contact Centre IVR services


* Transfers from other banks to Bank Muscat, as transferred amounts will be credited on Sunday, May 19, 2024
