A Palestinian girl defeats Biden

Just as the hands that rock the cradle rule the world, the President that sits in the White House rules the world. This is because for the past thirty years the United States of America has become the world’s only superpower that matters.

For this reason the results of the upcoming November 2024 US Presidential elections, between the current President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. and former President Donald John Trump, will impact each one of us and every corner of the earth strategically, militarily and financially. But, Biden, the most powerful and experienced leader in the world will not be beaten because of Trump, but because of a little girl the President probably never cared to hear about named Hind.

While we will delve deep around the world assessing the strengths and weaknesses of the Presidential candidates, we will learn a new lesson that a human interest story and a song is more than enough to cause a paradigm shift in the global order and can bring down the world superpower’s commander-in-chief.

Who is Hind

On January 29, 2024 a 6-year-old girl, named Hind Rajab in Tel El Hawa neighborhood of Gaza in the Occupied territories, made a distress call to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. She asked them for help as she was stuck in a car with six of her dead relatives surrounded by Israeli Occupation Force army tanks firing in Hind’s direction. Eye witnesses found Hind dead, along with the two rescue team members, as a result of tank artillery fire. During the US students’ protests a hall at Columbia University was occupied and renamed Hind’s hall in her memory. In addition and more culturally significant a song titled Hind’s Hall was streamed and went viral in May 2024, by one of the most popular rap artists nicknamed Macklemore. The fact that Hind’s story is trending shows that natural algorithms carrying the theme of social justice can beat disconnected elitists anytime and all the time.

Biden Strengths

The incumbent President Biden has many advantages, not the least political relation built over fifty years in the legislature — the US Congress. As a President, he helped millions of lives recover from the disastrous Covid-19 handling by his predecessor. Economically, his set of policies, dubbed as Bidenomics, created millions of jobs, helped US energy, manufacturing and technology industries thrive and kept organizations such as OPEC and BRICS at bay by a combination of threats and intimidation.

Weaknesses

On the other hand, Biden failed in not one but two important fronts, foreign policy and culture. While the incumbent President succeeded in law and order domestically by prosecuting violent insurrectionists who attacked Capitol Hill on January 6, 2020. However, his foreign policy leaned towards supporting racial supremacy and apartheid regimes in handling of the ongoing what the International Court of Justice- ICJ described as war crimes, in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Culturally, one of the most viral songs of 2024 popularized among millions of youth in the U.S. and around the world a phrase that says “No, I will not vote for Biden in the Fall”.

In the most famous strategy book The Art of War, Sun Tzu advises “If a battle cannot be won don’t fight it” but having a nuclear arsenal and weapons of mass destruction worth trillions of dollars made us think we can conquer free souls and ideas that God created for free. The innocent soul of Hind represents the idea of resistance, and we have not invented a weapon that can kill an idea which time has come.
