MUSCAT: Samayil Industrial City, affiliated with the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn), signed 3 new contracts to localise projects specialised in water desalination, building materials and plastics, with a total volume of investments exceeding RO 8 million, to be built on 50,00 square metres area.


These projects will provide local and foreign markets with high-quality products manufactured using modern technologies, in addition to providing a range of career opportunities for Omani cadres.


The first contract that Samayil Industrial City signed with Tasnee Metals Company was to establish a project specialised in manufacturing desalination and water treatment equipment with an investment size estimated at RO 4.85 million and an area of ​​10,045 square metres.


The industrial signed the second contract with Al Manshur International Company to establish a project specialising in the manufacture of plaster, cement and adhesives, with an investment size estimated at RO 1.8 million and to be established on an area of ​​19,865 square metres.


The third contract was signed with the Future Industries Company to establish a project specialszing in manufacturing plastic, rubber and plastic products with an investment amounting to RO 1.4 million on an area of ​​20,000 square metres. — ONA
