MUSCAT: HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, left here on Saturday for the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to take part in the World Economic Forum’s Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth and Energy for Development, which will be held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on April 28-29.
The meeting is the first-of-its-kind for the World Economic Forum and will bring together heads of states, senior international officials, policy-makers and experts from various international and academic organisations.
During his participation, HH Sayyid Theyazin is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Sultan bin Salim al Habsi, Minister of Finance, Abdulsalam bin Mohammed al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority (OIA), Eng Said bin Hamoud al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, Faisal bin Turki al Said, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Mohsin bin Hamad al Hadhrami, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals. — ONA
