In response to the increased demand from tourists to visit Dhofar Governorate during the autumn season, Salam Air will operate four daily flights from Muscat to Salalah, as well as connecting Salalah to Suhar. Salam Air will also operate flights to Salalah from Fujairah in the UAE and Manama in Bahrain.

The Salam Air fleet currently consists of 13 new aircraft of Airbus A321 Neo and A320 models, as well as a cargo aircraft of Airbus A321 model.

During 2023, Salam Air transported over 2.7 million passengers, showing a 28% increase compared to the previous year, affirming its positive role in enhancing the tourism and service sectors in Oman.

Salam Air continues its efforts to train Omani personnel to ensure a high level of professionalism in the aviation industry. The training program for Omani pilots has qualified over 60 Omani pilots, and the aircraft engineering training program has trained about 45 engineers to obtain an aircraft engineering license.

To enhance the customer experience during the booking process, Salam Air will release a new update for its mobile phone application tailored to the needs and preferences of customers. — ONA
