There are also chances of varying intensity rainfall in governorates of Dhofar.
Strong downdraft wind is expected to have speed ranging between 28 to 83 km/hr. Wave height in Musandam and across Oman Sea coasts are expected to reach 2 to 3 m.
Civil Aviation Authority advices all to take precaution during rain, wadis flow and the reduction of visibility.
This morning Met office had reported that activity and flow of thunderstorm cells of varying intensity over parts of the governorates of Muscat, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, South Al Sharqiyah, North Al Sharqiyah, Al Dhahirah and Al Dakhiliyah, with continued chances of rainfall of varying intensity that will be thundery at times during the coming hours.
The latest satellite images show that the governorates of South Al Batinah, North Al Sharqiyah, South Al Sharqiyah, and parts of Al Wusta will be affected by rainfall of varying intensity, thunderstorms at times, continuing until the coming time.
